Chicago Public Library ‘Finch Robots’ ready for check out

The Chicago Public Library has more than just books for borrowing. It now has a fleet of 500 robots that can be checked out.

Computer languages have always seemed to be out of reach for the average user, but with programs like this one, computer coding is placed within reach of just about anyone. Children will be able to learn elements of computer code through practical exercises, and can see how computer languages can create an effect in real life. Like mathematics or grammar, computer languages can become a staple of elementary education, and libraries can lead the way.
